Who is Allah? & The Concept of Tawheed

Who is Allah?

  • Allah is our creator and the creator of things around us. He is the Lord of the Worlds, The Almighty, The King. He is also referred with 99 names
  • Allah has given the Quran as a book for us to follow. It has every single guideline which relates to our lives because it is not only a guideline but a way of life. He has created a guideline so that humans may go on the right path and not be on the wrong one!
  • He is the one who watches our every move and records our good and bad deeds. He protects us from the evils of the world and loves us ten times more than our own parents!
  • When we do bad things Allah can become angry and can put us through tests in life. These tests are struggles which may cause problems but Allah puts them there to help us learn and grow. Tests bring us closer to Allah and drives us to repent our mistakes

What is Tawheed?

  • Tawheed (توحيد)‎ is the belief in one God. To believe in the oneness of Allah and completely submitting yourself to Him and His Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
  • This concept of believing in one God is known as Monotheism
